Survey Spotter is a website that gives you surveys that you can fill out to earn money and gifts. On the site, it says that you can't make money with Survey Spotter, which is not true. With the surveys that the site suggests, you can make money.

What is Survey Spotter?

Survey Spotter is a third-party survey aggregator that lets people make money by doing small online surveys and offers. It is run by Leadscale Labs Ltd., which is based in London, United Kingdom.

Leadscale was started in 2003 and is based at Unit 1 6 Owen Street Islington in London. Until November 2021, it will be called All Grove Ltd.

Survey Spotter puts you in touch with other survey sites because it is a survey aggregator. They are like sites like Survey Compare and Panel Payday, which don’t do their own surveys or market research and refer people to other sites that do.

Instead of being actual market research companies, they offer a place where other market research companies can join (survey sites).

In exchange, Survey Spotter gets a small commission, which doesn’t cost you anything. Think of it as a mall where you can find legitimate survey sites. Instead of going to each survey provider separately, you can find them all here.

How does work Survey Spotter?

If you’ve read this far, you know that Survey Spotter is not a survey company, but rather an aggregator or curator.

But if you’re just skimming and you skipped to this part, I’ll briefly explain it again.

When you sign up for Survey Spotter, you’ll be given a list of survey companies from which to choose. It looks like this…

Of course, you’ll have to sign up before you get to this point. So, let’s start by talking about who can join and what they need to do.

Survey Spotter Qualifications

It’s not hard to become a Survey Spotter, but there are a few things to think about.

First, you have to be over 18 and have a working email address.

Even though Survey Spotter and its parent company are based in London and say in their Terms and Conditions that you must live in the mainland UK, this is not always the case.

Even though Survey Spotter publishes these terms, you don’t have to worry about them. You aren’t signing up for services from Survey Spotter.

How you qualify depends on which survey company you sign up with.

For example, it doesn’t matter what Survey Spotter’s terms and/or requirements are if you join LifePoints through Survey Spotter. They can’t be used because LifePoints is the marketing research company that gives you surveys.

They are also the company that clients hire to put together market research and data.

As soon as you sign up for each survey site, you no longer need to talk to Survey Spotter directly.

So, the best answer to the question “How does Survey Spotter work?” is that it depends on the survey platforms you use (even if you join through Survey Spotter). Each one will have a different set of requirements.

Also, each survey you do will have a different set of requirements.

For example, you probably have to be a parent to take a survey about baby products.

How do I sign up for Survey Spotter?

It’s easy to join Survey Spotter. You don’t even need an account with a password.

Survey Spotter will then ask for your name and email address (but not a password). You have the option of clicking “yes” if you want to get emails about new survey companies (as shown below).

You’re now ready to start.

Choosing the Surveys

Once you’re inside, they’ll give you a list of survey sites to join, which will look like the list above (a couple of sections above). To take part, pick the ones that interest you, as shown in the next example.

Shortly after you make your choice, you’ll get an email from each survey company asking you to finish setting up your account.

Once you’re fully signed up with each company, the next steps will be different. Some companies have a place where members can go to see surveys, tasks, and different offers.

For instance, Cashback will give you a list of tasks to do, such as signing up for free trials and subscriptions.

In other cases, sites like Branded Surveys send you invitations to take surveys and emails about their products. Here are some of the invitations I’ve gotten from them…

Does Survey Spotter really give you money?

No, you don’t get paid by Survey Spotter. Your money comes from the companies you’ve signed up with. As was already said, your Survey Spotter account is no longer needed once you’ve made separate accounts for each survey site.

All of your surveys, tasks, offers, and rewards will come from the companies you choose. Not from Survey Spotter.

Depending on the site, there are different ways to get paid.

Each will use a different company to handle payments. Some may pay via PayPal, gift cards, check, or direct deposit, for example. Others offer reward programs like Amazon, Netflix, or Starbucks gift cards.

Some companies pay using services like Payoneer, Dwolla, Skrill, and others. Most also require you to prove who you are before you can get paid, and there may be fees.

Each site will have a minimum payout limit, and the time it takes to get approved will be different.

For something more important, you could also start an online business that works on commission.

You might be at home taking care of kids or have a health problem that makes it hard for you to do your regular job.

If that’s the case and you want to make more money, you need to know how and where to start.

Now, I’ll give you a free step-by-step beginner’s guide to making money online, which you can access by clicking below.

Surveys Sites Currently Listed On Survey Spotter

The list on Survey Spotter will change over time, but here’s what’s on it now:

  • Branded Surveys
  • LifePoints
  • Mobrog
  • Toluna Influencers
  • Maximiles
  • Cashback
  • Valued Opinions
  • Opinion Outpost
  • Oh My Dosh

TIP: If you want to take online surveys, make a separate email account so that you can keep track of them all in one place.

Is Survey Spotter a Scam?

SurveySpotter is not a scam, but some people might think it is deceptive that it looks like a real survey site but then sends you to other sites.

In other words, they don’t add much value because you still have to fill out forms for each survey site.

Still, they have one place where you can access all of the survey companies, which saves you time. They have also sorted out fake online surveys from the real ones.

Still, a big problem with survey companies, and one reason why they are sometimes called online scams, is that they often kick you out after you finish the survey. So, you had to waste time answering questions. In these cases, no payment will be made.

This happens because they usually need you to fill out the survey before they can tell if you’re a good fit or not. There are also pre-screener surveys on many survey sites.

Some people might think Survey Spotter is a scam because it makes money when you click on links to other sites. This is interesting from a psychological point of view. Some people are happy when they make money, but they don’t always like it when other people make money (but that’s a different article).

Anyway, Survey Spotter is a kind of affiliate marketer in this case. They bring in leads for sites like Branded Surveys, Opinion Outpost, Pinecone Research, etc. Even though it’s free to join, someone made money from it (which can make people feel they were taken advantage of, which is not the case).

Can You Make Money on It?

You don’t make money with Survey Spotter, which I’ll talk about in more detail below. Instead, the sites you join through Survey Spotter are where you make money.

Another question that gets closer to the point is whether or not you can make money by taking surveys.

You can, in fact, make money by taking surveys.

I will say, though, that Survey Spotter’s predictions are too optimistic. They say you can make up to £300 per month or £20 per survey.

This is not possible, in my opinion.

Theoretically, it is possible to make £300 per month by using multiple sites and taking a lot of surveys. However, it is very rare for a single survey to pay £20. I wouldn’t say they don’t exist, but most of the time they are very specific and only apply to experts in a certain field.

How Much Do Survey Takers Make?

Most surveys pay somewhere between £1 and £2. Some surveys pay less than £1, but sometimes you’ll get the chance to do ones that pay between £5 and £10.

About 5 to 20 minutes, give or take, is how long it takes to fill out a survey.

I can only remember getting paid more than that for a survey when I went to a real-life focus group.

In either case, surveys won’t give you enough money to live on full-time.

Most of the time, surveys pay based on how big their target audience is. A survey with general questions that anyone can answer will pay less than one that needs specialized knowledge or information about a certain group of people.

For example, if a company that makes portable blood pressure machines is surveying people, it’s likely that they are a certain age and have a short list of medical conditions.

Because there aren’t that many people who can fill out that survey, the payoff will need to be higher to get enough people to make a useful dataset.

Or, a company that makes tools could be doing a survey that only auto mechanics can answer because it needs specialized knowledge. In that case, they would have to pay a lot for the mechanics to think it was worth their time.

On the other hand, if a fast-food chain polled current or potential customers, there would be a large number of people who might fill out the poll. So, their rates of pay would be lower.

Overall, though, a full-time survey taker who uses more than one site can make a few hundred dollars a month. The trade-off is that it’s less than minimum wage. What part-time job that pays minimum wage can you do while you’re sitting on your couch and watching TV?

Is the Survey Spotter site good?

Whether or not you can make money on Survey Spotter or if it’s real is different from whether or not it’s a good website. From my point of view, yes. It’s easy to use, and the user interface is clear.

Aside from your age and gender, it doesn’t ask for any other personal information.

They don’t ask about your finances, your marital status, your political views, whether or not you own a home, or anything else you might find too personal. They don’t even want to know where you live.

For something more important, you could also start an online business that works on commission.

You might be at home taking care of kids or have a health problem that makes it hard for you to do your regular job.

If that’s the case and you want to make more money, you need to know how and where to start.

Review and Complaints of Survey Spotter

Survey Spotter doesn’t get a lot of complaints, which is good. Most user reviews are good, and the few negative comments on blogs and YouTube are more about the survey sites themselves than about Survey Spotter itself.

Compared to other ways to make money online, surveys don’t pay very much, and people will complain about that. It’s a good complaint, but it doesn’t really help. The pay for surveys is what it is. It’s not the fault of the survey company.

It comes down to supply and demand.

They give their clients market research data, and their clients are only willing to pay a certain amount. If the survey company’s prices are too high, the client will hire a different survey company.

The other thing that people don’t like about Survey Spotter is that it is not a real survey company. That is correct. But the end result for the person who fills out the survey is the same. They sign up, fill out surveys, and get paid.

I thought there would be more Survey Spotter user reviews on sites like Reddit, Trustpilot, and others like them, but there aren’t that many there either.

What I Like

  • Free to join. There’s no need for a credit card.
  • They don’t pretend to be a site where you can get rich quickly or make other crazy claims.
  • All of the survey sites they recommend right now are legitimate.
  • Survey Spotter does what it says it will do. I didn’t run into any technical problems, and users didn’t have anything to say about it.

What I Don’t Like

  • There aren’t many ways to make money.
  • The screening process for each survey company is different, but it can sometimes be too much. Common questions include income, loans and banking details, employers, etc.
  • Even if you use Survey Spotter, you still have to deal with third-party survey sites and any problems they might cause.
  • If you are already signed up with more than one survey company, there is no reason to use Survey Spotter.

Survey Spotter Conclusion

Survey Spotter makes it easy to sign up for several survey sites at once. They also get rid of scams.

Still, you won’t be able to quit your job and only do surveys. They never bring in enough money to live on full-time.

If you have a lot of bills and debts to pay off, survey money can help, but it won’t change your life.

You could be in school or be a single parent at home. You might have health problems that make it hard to work every day, or you might just be tired of your job.
