  6. You can certainly do affiliate marketing without a website, but this is definitely more work in the long run as far as I am concerned. To me building a list seem the most logical thing to do, as you then just build a relationship with that list and grow it over time. However having a website means that once you have a lot of traffic, it becomes a passive source of income, and you can go on holiday and leave your website to work for you. I find solo ads and paid advertising all very expensive, and you need to keep doing it to generate an income.

    I was interested to read about Squidoo being sold off. I haven’t been in there for years, but often used to post content there.
